Łysina
Mount Ścieszków Groń (779 m) is a prominent mountain in the Little Beskid, rising to the south of the Kocierska Pass, over the large village of Łękawica. From the glades lying below the top there are beautiful panoramas, and the sandstone cliffs called "The Castle" attract climbers. Another attraction is the recently discovered Jaskinia Lodowa (Ice Cave). The charming village of Łysina is located on the southern slopes of Mount Ścieszków Groń. The village is known for its rich traditions of the stonework.
Kocierz Rychwałdzki
Kocierz (also known as Wielka Góra), is a mountain rising to 879 m above sea level. It is one of the highest peaks of the Little Beskids. The mountain is located in the eastern part of this range, which is referred to as the Zasolskie Mountains, or called the Andrychów Beskid or Wadowice Beskid. The Kocierz massif with its peak is part of the nature reserve "Szeroka". This is one of the Beskid reserves which include the primeval Carpathian Forest.
Kocierz Rychwałdzki
The Kocierska Pass is the lowest point in the whole main ridge of the Little Beskid. A daring and picturesque road, which connects Andrychów with Żywiec, runs through the pass. The Kocierska Pass is a great starting point for hiking and biking – westwards, we can roam even Żar, and eastwards towards Łamana Skała (Broken Rock) and Leskowiec. On the way we can rest in the conference and recreation centre "Kocierz".
Gilowice
The Church of Saint Andrew in Gilowice, in the district of Żywiec, until the mid-eighteenth century, stood in Żywiec in the village of Rychwałd, known today as the Marian shrine. The construction of the temple was completed in 1545, and it was consecrated in 1547 by Bishop Erasmus Ciołek. The founder of the church was probably Krzysztof Komorowski. In 1756, this church was moved to Gilowice, where it was added to the tower, which had stood here before.
Łękawica
Józef Hulka, born 1926, is one of the most original and versatile Polish folk artists. He is painter, sculptor, builder of Christmas cribs and masks. He writes verse and prose. His works are in numerous national and international collections. The artist was honored with prestigious awards, including the prize named after Oskar Kolberg. His works can be seen in the museum, which is located in his home village of Łękawica.
The Little Beskids Landscape Park is located on the border of the Silesian and Lesser Poland voivodeships. In terms of area, it comprises one of the smallest and relatively low mountain chains in the Polish Beskids. Stretching from the West to the East, the Little Beskids is 35 km long, and consists of the two ranges: the Czupel Range (also called the Czupel and Magurka Wilkowicka Range) and the Łamana Skała Range (also known as the Madohora Range). There are a few nature reserves within the area of the park.
