The old RAILWAY station in the village of Poraj. In 1846, within the municipality of Poraj Warsaw - Vienna railway was built. During the railway construction by Poraj there was immediately built class III railway station called PORAJ, which included: building the station with cash ticket, waiting room for travelers, and a station agent house,contol room with reapir workshop, a water pump station tower, warehouses and houses for the railwaymen and their families.
During World War II, it was the border station between the Crowd and the General Governorship. After the war, the station operated until 1956. From 1985-87 was the construction of the new building. To this day you can admire centuries-old buildings and equipment accompanying them.
