City audio tours

Zapraszamy na audiowycieczkę po Brennej!

The educational trail, which runs through the areas of the Silesian Beskid, makes tourists acquainted with the wildlife of the local forests. The route starts in Brenna Bukowa and ends in the pass of Mount Karkoszczonka with a height of 723 m above sea level. Along the trail, there are information boards about the Beskid flora and fauna. The trail is not too long. It is about 3 km long, and it takes just over an hour to walk along it. One can continue hiking, for example, towards the nearby massif of Mount Klimczok. The surrounding mountain hostels make it possible to stay here longer and to learn more about the area.
The Catholic parish of Saint John the Baptist in Brenna now covers most of the tourist resort. Previously, this area belonged to the parish in Grodziec, then - since the seventeenth century - to the parish in Górki Wielkie. Interestingly, the policy pursued by the Austrian Emperor Joseph II contributed to the creation of a separate parish in Brenna in 1784. The church of Saint John the Baptist was built shortly thereafter and was consecrated in 1796.
The Park of Tourism in Brenna is a leisure and entertainment centre of this charming Beskid village. The park is located in the heart of the village, near the parish church and the most luxurious hotel. Along the river there are an amphitheater, which often echoes the music, sports fields and playgrounds. There are also stands with souvenirs and snack bars.
Enthusiasts of outdoor activities and thrilling adventures have been recently benefitting from the attractions of the Orla Perć Rope Park in Brenna. This is the highest located rope park in the Beskids. Additionally, obstacles themselves are suspended on 18-meter poles! Children, young people and adults can test their strength, stamina and coordination on one of the four routes of varying difficulty. Each passing takes place under maximum security - certified equipment and qualified instructors.
There are a number of wooden houses from the 18th to 20th centuries in various places of Brenna. The traditional, typical residential buildings of this area are log cabins on stone foundations. The oldest were once chimneyless huts.
