The Japanese Garden in Pisarzowice

A colorful patch of the Land of the Rising Sun can be seen without going on a long and expensive journey. In Pisarzowice, at Antoni Pudełko’s Ornamental Shrubs Nursery, an extraordinary garden in the Japanese style was created. It impresses with colorful azaleas, Japanese maples, cherry trees or garden bonsai. All this is complemented with stone elements and interestingly designed aqueous compositions. Japanese climate can also be felt in a stylish tea room, which offers several dozen kinds of tea.

Stara Wieś
In the village of Stara Wieś, located in the commune of Wilamowice, in the district of Bielsko, it is worthwhile to see several monuments, including a manor house. The manor house, dating from the second half of the eighteenth century, was erected on the site of an earlier, sixteenth-century building. At the present time, the manor house is unfortunately much neglected, which was due to the years of the communist regime, during which the mansion was the seat of the cooperative, called "Postęp". Near the mansion, a monumental oak tree has survived.
Kozy is a large village lying in the district of Bielsko, in the foothills of the Little Beskids. It is indeed the most populated village in Poland. It has almost 12 thousand inhabitants, which is even more than the population of some towns. In the village there is a manor probably dating from the eighteenth century. It is a neo-Classicist building, whose today’s shape results from the renovations in the nineteenth century. The manor is located in the middle of the park.
Stara Wieś
Stara Wieś is located in the commune of Wilamowice, on the Skowronka river, in the picturesque surroundings of fish ponds. The origins of the village date back to the thirteenth century, when Duke Mieszko II of Cieszyn told someone named William to settle newcomers from all over, including Western Europe. Among several historic buildings worth seeing here, there is an old, wooden school building, which houses an ethnographic exhibition.
The huge silhouette of the Church of the Holy Trinity towers over Wilamowice, a beautiful town with an interesting history, located to the north of Bielsko-Biała. The first church was erected in the town in the Middle Ages. The present one was started in 1923. The construction was completed after several years. The Wilamowice church refers to the soaring Gothic style, and inside there is a real gem - a huge neo-Gothic altar, the work of life of Kazimierz Danek.
Stara Wieś
The sixteenth-century wooden church in Stara Wieś is located near Wilamowice. Successive reconstructions changed somewhat original Little Poland-Silesian style of the building. The church was built on a small hill, surrounded by trees and the cemetery, and together with adjacent historic buildings of the former rectory and parish school forms a picturesque architectural ensemble. It is located on the Wooden Architecture Trail of the Silesia province.
Kozy is the largest and most populous village in Poland. It is situated in the foothills of the Little Beskids, near Bielsko-Biała. In the 60s of the twentieth century, Adolf Zuber, a local social worker and collector of memorabilia, founded a historical circle here. Its members have collected interesting, old household equipment unused for years. The exhibition illustrates the life of the former inhabitants. The historical chamber was established in 1992 and is housed in the Municipal Library.
